STORED OR IMPOUNDED VEHICLES/POST STORAGE HEARINGS
In accordance with 22852 CVC, the Gardena Police Department conducts a post storage hearing for all stored or impounded vehicles including those placed on a 30 day hold.
Post-Storage hearings are conducted in-person or by phone within 48 hours of the hearing request, excluding weekends and holidays.
“In-person” hearings are conducted by traffic investigators, located at 1718 W. 162nd St, Gardena, CA 90248.
“Telephonic” hearings are conducting by traffic investigators. To request a telephonic hearing, call (310) 217-9670 and ask to speak with a traffic investigator. Leave a voicemail requesting a hearing, if the investigator is not available.
Failure to request or attend a scheduled hearing satisfies the post-storage hearing requirement.
